In a world where humans cannot speak and swords can, talking swords are incredibly commonplace and are used to solve all conflicts, be they social or physical. As a result, talking swords are a requirement for all - not just adventurers - but are quickly abandoned if they fail to impress The One Who Wields Them...
Talking Swords is a one page RPG about talking swords and those that wield them. You play as a talking sword carried by a non-verbal adventurer and serve as both their weapon of choice and a diplomat, and must balance the two roles; go too far in one direction and your owner is sure to ditch you for a more balanced blade.
Suitable for as little as one player and a GM, Talking Swords is a great choice for a short, fun game or a long, epic fantasy adventure - just don't get too attached to your blade, The One That Wields Them certainly won't!
